Showroom Sales Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Showroom Sales Manager you will have a strong focus on customer service while building and maintaining lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Working as part of the National Sales Team you will have an in-depth understanding of our product range and set customers expectation on the Kustom Timber product and process. You will also be responsible for the management and mentoring of two Showroom Sales Consultants.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and mentor the Showroom Sales Team
  • Manage showrooms roster ensuring right staff available for each day
  • Showing customers through the showroom and our timber flooring ranges
  • Quote management
  • Customer communication and updates
  • Scheduling appointments for the sales team
  • Ensuring after sales communication and follow up
  • Updating and maintain HubSpot
  • Actively searching for sales leads with Trade, Architects and Designers
  • Ensure correct communication to hand over won jobs to operations team
  • Working with the marketing team to plan and host events to lift Kustom Timbers profile with potential clients, including Architects and Builders

ABOUT YOU

Having worked in a similar sales role or management position, you will have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Your presentation, written communication and a professional phone manner is exceptional with a Customer First focus. Previous roles have seen you manage a small team of sales staff with strong mentorship.

SKILLS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Worked in an office/showroom environment
  • Worked in Design or Construction industry
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Gmail
  • Experience using estimating software

  • Saturday 9am – 4pm

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Showing customers through the showroom
  • Building and sending customers quotes, and keeping systems up to date (Orbis, HubSpot)
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Customer follow up
  • Ensuring after sales communication and follow up
  • Working with the team to ensure presentation standards in the showroom
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure delivery of customer experience

Installers & Labourers

About the Role:

We are currently seeking installers and labourers for the installation of timber flooring. This role will require installation of all types of timber flooring, site preparation, levelling of both concrete and timber substrates, ability to follow and listen to careful instructions, basic understanding of how to read building plans, repairs and rectifications of flooring problems, setting out starting points correctly to ensure flooring runs parallel to all walls and joinery, installation of timber flooring to staircases and willingness to work in a team environment.

About you:

You will be eager to learn and enhance your skillset. You must be well presented and have exceptional communication skills when dealing with customers. You must be prepared to work a minimum of 5 days a week 8 hours a day.

Sanding & Polishers

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced floor sander and polisher who is able to perform a variety of skills that must include: staining and coating of all types of timber floors, staircases and balustrades. You will be working with industry leaders in the field and will be required to have a high level of attention to detail and finished results.

About you:

You will be an experienced floor sander with minimum of 7 year’s experience. You must have broad range of experience with solid and engineered timber. Applicants should be able to present and explain previous applications of all types of coatings to past jobs including waterborne finishes, oil finishes and polyurethane finishes.

Floor Maintenance & Polisher

About the Role:

Kustom Timber would like to invite applicants to apply for part-time role maintaining and nourishing all Kustom Timber floors. As a fast growing side of the business this role would soon develop into full time work and is an excellent opportunity for applicants to enter a young and experienced team at Kustom Timber. The company is prepared to offer training and education on how to achieve the best results and which products to apply for a variety of timber floors and staircases.
